Very important aspect of human resource is to improve employee performance. A good way to do is to develop or boost up self-esteem of your employees. Boosting employee self-esteem at work can be a great way to overcome problems and keep employees motivated at job. Entrepreneurs should always keep trying to boost up employee motivation and self-esteem. Here is a collection of tips for entrepreneurs that will help business people in building employee self-esteem and become more productive. Offer you employees these tips to improve them:
Broaden Yourself
Motivate your employees to learn new skills. Knowing new things boosts up one’s confidence as well as keeps that person organized and engaged in work environment. Always motivate your employees to try new styles and tactics. Arrange on-the-job training programs. It will give them a new passion to handle new and different challenges that will obviously result in increased productivity.
Avoid Procrastination
Procrastination reduces self-esteem because one’s energy is exhausted in thinking about things did not experienced before. Encourage your employees for not to avoid a task and accept challenges.
Develop Good Judgment
Make sure to be an unbiased and fair judge.  Reward performance of employees as it is an efficient and sure way to boost up self-esteem and confidence in your employees. You can reward their performance in different shapes like verbal appreciation, money incentives, promotion or rise in salary within same position. Be a detailed oriented judge and make decisions with full cautions.
Give Responsibility
Assign individual responsibilities to employees which will help the employees bring their hidden skills forward. Excelling in assigned tasks and responsibilities and getting appreciated will give their self-esteem an instant increment. Having some intimated responsibilities will make the employees feel being trusted which will eventually increase their confidence and self-esteem.
Ask them to Be Ready and Willing to Work Hard
Employees may need to work hard for tackling anything new therefore always try to motivate your employees to be ready to face immediate challenges.
Encourage Friendly Work Environment
Welcome suggestions and ideas from employees and implement their suggestion also in work decisions. It will make them feel important part of organization and hence encourage them to do for good of organization. Establish a two-way communication system in business meetings and otherwise to establish a friendly work environment where employees will work confidently not under pressure.
