Tips to Ship Pennants


A pennant is a flag that is usually used to show achievement or to support a particular athletic team. There is no size limitation for pennants as these can be small or large in size and are made of durable supplies such as felt, canvas or strong nylon. Sporting achievements such as conference titles or championships may be celebrated by hanging a pennant. Ships in the Royal Navy use to flow a pennant when ship service is being started. People design pennants their own or can also import them from other countries. Businesses preparing pennants will follow a specific set of steps for safe shipment of pennants so that pennants may not be wrinkled. You need to have few materials to wrap pennants so that it will not be wrinkled. Here is a collection of tips that will help you in shipping a pennant safely. Follow these:
  • First of all determine size of cardboard shipping tube needed. Measure the pennant with the help of ruler or tape. Roll the pennant from top toward the point for shipping. Bubble padding will be wrapped around the pennant to prevent it from wrinkles.
  • Put pennant on work surface. Position the pennant so that the top is at opposed direction from where you will initiate wrapping.
  • Cut a piece of bubble padding according to top of pennant and at least half of the length of pennant.
  • Roll the bubble wrap around the rolled pennant and secure it with tape. Make sure that the bubble wrap extends over the ends of pennant for its protection.
  • Once you have done all discussed above, place the wrapped pennant into the cardboard tube to be used for shipping of pennants. Make it sure that there is enough bubble wrap padding around the pennant to prevent intense movement during shipping. Place caps on shipping tube and seal the tube with packing tape.
  • Adjust the amount and size of the bubble wrap support according to your requirements.
